About markhabo labs

We're an applied AI lab. We build things that work, and we share what we figure out along the way. Most AI talk stays abstract — potential, possibilities, the future. We're less interested in that. We care about what AI can actually do right now, for real people, in real situations. That's the question we keep coming back to, and it shapes everything — how we think, what we choose to work on, and how we measure whether we're doing a good job.

We started markhabo labs because we believed there was a gap between what AI research produces and what actually ends up being useful. A lot of good ideas never make it out of papers. A lot of products get built without any real thinking behind them. We wanted to sit in the middle of that — take the research seriously, but stay obsessed with whether it actually solves something. That tension is uncomfortable sometimes, but we think it's the right place to be.

On the research side, we believe knowledge gets better when it's shared. Scientific progress was never really a solo sport — the best breakthroughs in history came from people building on each other's work, openly, sometimes messily. So we publish what we learn: technical posts, papers, code, findings we think are worth putting out. Not as a marketing move. Because we think good work belongs in the open, it keeps us honest, and if it helps someone else think through a hard problem, that's a good outcome.

We're also open to investors — but only the ones who genuinely care about what's being built, not just what it might be worth someday. We're not in a rush to chase trends or optimize for optics. If you believe in AI that's actually grounded, research that's actually honest, and products that are actually useful — we'd like to hear from you.
